Maps from Elyne Mitchell's Brumby books.These maps have been drawn from information and maps in The Silver Brumby books, as well as information from CMA Topographical maps and an Australian atlas. Drawing these maps has pushed home to me just how big this country really is.
Despite the miles I have driven, I've only covered a fraction of it. While I have been up
to Thredbo and down through Suggan Buggan, I have seen very little of brumby country though
what I did see was wonderful. No doubt, the way to see it would be by horse.
