Birth of a foal.
Sunday morning (20 Oct 1996) at Beltona Stud. 11:05 am. Elly goes into labor. Nose and forefeet of the foal appear. Elly gets up, then lies down again.
11:11 am. Arrival of the foal. It's a pinto!
11:15 am. Elly greets her new son.
Even in the few minutes between these photo's, he has dried a little. He's thinking about standing.
11:20 am. And up he goes, on his feet for the first time.
Standing next to mum. Up and staying up!

Beltona Tuxedo. Seven weeks old.
Beltona Tuxedo. Six months old.
